NVB were successful in a limited design competition to provide a “landmark building that relates to the character of Verwood yet is highly distinctive in its quality. The building needed to "balance modernism and high tech with the traditional” The building comprises a 300 seat theatre together with a second smaller hall, meeting rooms and a central foyer/café linking the whole building to a beautiful south facing garden.
