NVB were instructed to review the potential to provide much needed additional teaching accommodation in the setting of Canons Park (a registered Grade II Historic Landscape) and within the strict boundary defined in the 1994 development plan which was agreed with the local planning authority.

The new accommodation includes a new kitchen to serve 1000 pupils, refurbished dining hall, classrooms and laboratories. The project gained planning approval in 2011 and was completed in 2013.
