Longleat Adventure and Safari Park
The proposal was to create a themed area immediately upon entering the safari park where visitors can obtain refreshments and stretch their legs before continuing the safari tour. The designs include food and retail outlets, a treetop walkway and giraffe feeding platforms.
The site is within the parkland of the house, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and was a former WW II field hospital. Detailed studies were required by the local planning authority to demonstrate the visual impact from selected key receptors. The project was completed in 2012 by the Longleat Estates department and a team of specialist theming experts.
