NVB Architects worked closely with Bournemouth Borough Council and the rangers to create a new visitors centre at the approach to this site of special scientific interest. The design was developed with the full co-operation of the community on the extremely sensitive site with full consideration being given to the form, material and treatment of the extension to the exising barn. A mixture of straw bale construction and timber framing enables this new addition to sit comfortably in the historic setting.
