NVB were instructed to design a new sports pavilion adjacent to the existing sports pitches at the school. By working with the change in level across the site, we have been able to create a two storey building with the lower ground floor set into the sloping site and open on one side. The lower ground floor provides 8 team changing rooms, two referee changing rooms and an accessible changing room. On the upper ground floor a large multi-purpose social room with floor to ceiling glazing and external terraces on three sides provides uninterrupted views out over the surrounding playing fields. This room is supported by a kitchen, bar, staff/meeting room, toilets and store.
