Dauntsey’s School
The project involved the complete refurbishment and extension of a Grade II listed timber framed and clad cricket pavilion constructed in the early 1930s (see photo bottom left). The building was suffering from timber decay, had no insulation and was no longer water or airtight. In addition the original facilities no longer met the school’s needs, as the changing rooms contained in each side wing contained only rudimentary benches, no showers and insufficient toilet facilities.
