The building sits on the boundary of the conservation area surrounding the Grade II listed house, and involved detailed and complex negotiations between clinicians, the Langford Estate and the local planning authority. The scheme incorporates 5 operating theatres in an open plan arrangement, specialist diagnostics, imaging, induction and intensive care units, linking the activities in the adjacent small animal hospital and small animal practice.
